WHO WE ARE

Our classrooms are joyful, peaceful, and purposeful spaces where children are seen, heard, and deeply respected. Every child’s unique rhythm is honored through Montessori education, brought to life by passionate educators who observe closely, introduce work with care, and give children time to develop at their own pace.

Trilingual Immersion

English, Mandarin, and Spanish in Daily Use

Each classroom includes Montessori-trained teachers who are native speakers of English, Mandarin, and Spanish. Each teacher uses one designated language consistently, allowing children to connect all three languages with familiar people, objects, actions, and experiences. Children encounter language through conversation, songs, stories, routines, and Montessori lessons. As they grow, this experience extends into mathematics, geography, Cultural Studies, and other areas of the curriculum.

Purposeful Work At Every Age

Children learn by doing. A one-year-old may carry a tray or practice pouring. A two-year-old may spoon, wash, sort, or prepare food. An older child may build quantities, connect sounds with letters, or study a map. Teachers present each material carefully and give children time to choose, repeat, concentrate, and move toward mastery.

Preparing Your Child for Nursery and Preschool: Supporting a Smooth Transition

Starting school is a big milestone: not just for your child, but for your whole family. As summer fades and the excitement of fall begins, many families in Lower Manhattan prepare for the transition to preschool. For young children, it’s often their first time in a structured environment without parents or primary caregivers, a shift that can bring a mix of joy, curiosity, and anxiety.
