Early Care & Extended Day
Battery Park Montessori offers Early Care, Extended Day, and Enrichment Classes that give families flexibility beyond the regular school day.
Early Care
Monday–Friday, 8:00–8:30AM
Early Care allows families to drop off before the school day begins. Children remain in their own classroom under the supervision of classroom teachers and may begin attending once their phase-in period is complete.
Extended Day
Monday–Friday, 2:30–5:30PM for Nursery Ones and 2:30–6:00PM for Nursery Twos and Casa
Extended Day provides a familiar setting for snack, care routines, play, and quiet activities after dismissal. Children are supervised by experienced Battery Park Montessori staff in dedicated classroom spaces.
Enrichment Classes
Monday–Wednesday and Friday, 3:00–3:45PM
Nursery Twos and Casa students may participate in enrichment classes led by Battery Park Montessori teachers and outside partners. Offerings vary by semester and may include cooking, dance, art, science, yoga, chess, and gymnastics. Students enrolled in an Enrichment Class may join Extended Care at no additional charge after their class ends and remain there until pickup.
Pricing
Early Care, Extended Day, and Enrichment Classes are offered for an additional fee. Early Care and Extended Day are available through semester registration or on an ad-hoc basis. Enrichment Classes are registered for by semester. Visit our Tuition page for current rates and available options.
