Battery Park Montessori is a warm, inclusive place where every person is valued. Our teachers genuinely know and care about each child, and they work closely with families to help students thrive. Across grades and divisions, students come together for shared activities and events that build real connection, and families do the same.

Our families come from all over the world, bringing different languages, cultures, traditions, and perspectives to the school. Children grow up surrounded by this diversity, learning alongside classmates whose families may have experiences different from their own. Over time, children, parents, caregivers, and teachers come to know one another well, giving Battery Park Montessori the warmth and familiarity families value in an early childhood school.

The Parent Association will give families another way to get to know one another and contribute to the life of the school. The association will support school initiatives and help create opportunities for connection among families, teachers, and school leadership. All parents and caregivers are invited to participate. Some may have time to take on an ongoing role, while others may join a particular event or lend a hand when their schedules allow. Each contribution helps shape a community in which families feel welcomed, connected, and involved.
