Admissions Timeline (2027/2028 Year)

Battery Park Montessori offers two admissions rounds: Priority Admissions and Regular Admissions. We encourage families to apply as early as possible. All applications and required admissions steps are completed through Ravenna.

School Year 2026–27

Our 2026/2027 deadlines have passed. However, we maintain an active waitlist that may continue to move throughout the summer and into the start of the school year. Families interested in applying for this fall should contact Marien Martinez at admissions@greenivy.com.

What are the 2027–28 application deadlines?

For Priority Admissions, families must complete their application checklist by December 2, 2026. For Regular Admissions, the application checklist must be complete by January 15, 2027. Families should complete all required steps in Ravenna by the applicable deadline to be considered within that admissions round.

When are Battery Park Montessori admissions decisions released for 2027–28?

Priority Admissions decisions will be released on December 7, 2026, with enrollment confirmation due by December 14, 2026. Regular Admissions decisions will be released on February 22, 2027, with enrollment confirmation due by March 1, 2027.

What is the difference between Priority Admissions and Regular Admissions?

Priority Admissions offers families an earlier application and decision timeline, with the application checklist due December 2, 2026 and decisions released December 7, 2026. Regular Admissions follows later in the admissions season, with the application checklist due January 15, 2027 and decisions released February 22, 2027. Both admissions rounds follow the same BPM admissions process through Ravenna.

Can families apply after the published admissions deadlines?

Yes. Applications received after the Regular Admissions deadline may be considered on a rolling basis as space permits. Families applying later in the admissions season are encouraged to contact the Admissions Team to learn more about current availability.

How long do admitted families have to accept an offer?

For the 2027–28 school year, families admitted through Priority Admissions must confirm enrollment by December 14, 2026. Families admitted through Regular Admissions must confirm enrollment by March 1, 2027. Enrollment requirements and instructions are provided with the admission offer.
