Battery Park Montessori is proud to be an American Montessori Society (AMS) Verified School, reflecting our commitment to authentic Montessori principles, high-quality education, and continued professional growth within the Montessori community.
Green Ivy International Schools brings together Battery Park Montessori and Pine Street School, both founded by Dr. Jennifer Jones and accredited by the American Montessori Society. The schools share a commitment to Montessori principles, multilingual learning, and internationally minded education, while offering distinct educational models.
Battery Park Montessori serves children ages 1–5, following a traditional Montessori structure with English, Mandarin, and Spanish woven into daily classroom life. Montessori-trained teachers guide hands-on learning that builds independence, concentration, and confidence.
Pine Street School serves children from Nursery 1 through Grade 8. Nursery starts with Montessori foundations, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme beginning in Preschool 3. Spanish and Mandarin language programs span Nursery 1 through Grade 8, with a German track also available beginning in Middle School.
Battery Park Montessori’s accreditations reflect regular review by outside organizations across areas such as curriculum, leadership, operations, and educational practice. They give families an independent measure of the school’s quality and accountability.
