Our Accreditations and Associations

Battery Park Montessori has earned recognition from some of the most respected names in education. Here's what each one means and why it matters for your child.

American Montessori Society (AMS) Member School

Battery Park Montessori is proud to be a member of the American Montessori Society (AMS). Our membership reflects our commitment to authentic Montessori principles, high-quality education, and continued professional growth within the Montessori community.

Green Ivy International Schools

Green Ivy International Schools brings together Battery Park Montessori and Pine Street School, both founded by Dr. Jennifer Jones and accredited by the American Montessori Society. The schools share a commitment to Montessori principles, multilingual learning, and internationally minded education, while offering distinct educational models. Battery Park Montessori follows a traditional Montessori structure from Nursery Ones and Twos into the mixed-age Preschool & Kindergarten (Casa) classroom. Pine Street School organizes its early years by age—from Nursery Ones through Kindergarten—then continues through Middle School, integrating Montessori principles in the early years with the International Baccalaureate framework as children grow.

What Accreditation Means for Your Family

Pine Street School’s accreditations reflect regular review by outside organizations across areas such as curriculum, leadership, operations, and educational practice. They give families an independent measure of the school’s quality and accountability.

We’re always happy to explain what each accreditation covers. Get in touch or schedule a visit.
